**Position**: On-site Application Chemist

**Reports to**: Regional Manager -West 1 A

**Location**: Mumbai

**Years of Experience**: 6-8 years in Pharma/Testing Lab/Food Testing Lab and Hand-on experience on TQMS Experience in handling Shimadzu TQMS is preferred

**Experience in Method development process**: Should be versed with AMD (Analytical Method Development) activity - Method Development & Validation protocols; PT (Proficiency Testing) requirements; Existing Regulations in Pharma / Food / EU Norms / Codex Test Methods Should have handled and worked on method development activities of different types of samples / drugs / food matrices

**Minimum Qualifications**: B.Sc. or equivalent Graduation in Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry

**Preferred Qualifications**:M.Sc. Or Equivalent Postgraduation in Organic/ Analytical Chemistry or higher

**Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day visit to customer site OR Stationed at one customer for a period of 6 to 12 months (Any Place in India).
- Supporting customer method development / method optimisation assistance pertaining to their sample matrices
- Helping customer with method validation support
- Demonstrating to customers advanced software capabilities and method packages with sample matrices

**Key Success Behaviours (Key Competencies)**:

- Experience in handling chromatography sampling techniques like Headspace Samplers, Thermal Desorption, Pyrolyzer, etc. would be added advantage
- Should have experience in analytical method development, method optimisation, method validation using these techniques
- Knowledge of global regulations in the field having experience would be an added advantage
- Should be well conversant with various sample preparation techniques like extraction, digestion, purification, clean up etc.
- Should have effective English spoken and written communication skills
- Should be willing to travel extensively locally as well as outstation for customer support activity
