**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Installation & Maintenance**:

- Install and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment, including wiring, panels, and circuit boards.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues in industrial machinery and equipment.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure all electrical work is completed in compliance with national electrical codes (NEC) and local safety standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- **Preventative Maintenance**:

- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Identify and replace faulty wiring, connectors, switches, and other electrical components.
- **Technical Support & Collaboration**:

- Provide technical support to other departments, such as production or operations, regarding electrical issues and improvements.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure electrical systems are operating efficiently.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, installations, and maintenance work completed.
- Prepare reports on system performance and recommendations for improvements.

**Required Qualifications**
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing or production environment.
- **Skills & Knowledge**:

- Proficiency in electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, VFDs, motors, and other industrial control systems is a plus.
- **Education**:

- Certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electrical, or a related field is preferred.
- Apprenticeship or formal training in industrial electrical systems is an advantage.
- **Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy equipment.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights when necessary.
