Job Description for Garment Merchandiser

Position: Garment Merchandiser

Location: Kasna, Site 5, Greater Noida

**Salary**: ₹20,000 - ₹30,000 per month

Experience: 4-5 years

Gender: Male/Female

Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development:
Collaborate with design and production teams to develop new garments.

Ensure designs meet customer requirements and market trends.

2. Order Management:
Handle buyer inquiries and manage orders from start to finish.

Coordinate with buyers to finalize designs, quantities, and timelines.

3. Production Coordination:
Oversee production schedules and ensure timely delivery.

Work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards.

4. Vendor Communication:
Liaise with suppliers for fabric, trims, and accessories procurement.

Negotiate prices and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

5. Quality Assurance:
Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Address any issues related to defects or delays promptly.

6. Market Analysis:
Keep up-to-date with fashion trends and competitor activities.

Provide insights for future product development and sales strategies.

7. Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of orders, specifications, and shipping details.

Prepare reports for management on performance and progress.

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Designing, Textile, or a related field.

4-5 years of experience in garment merchandising.

Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (preferred).

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
