**Position: Tour Guide**

**Location: Domestic**

**Job Summary**:
As a student tour guide, you will be responsible for leading groups of visitors through various attractions, historical sites, or natural landmarks, providing them with engaging and informative commentary. Your role will involve creating a memorable and educational experience for tourists, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of the destination's culture, history, and significance.

**Advantage**:
Tour leaders with an experience in domestic locations is also what is required like Agra, Ranthambore, Shimla, Mashobra any hill station etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Guided Tours**:
Lead guided tours for groups of tourists, providing insightful commentary and sharing interesting facts about the destination.

Ensure that the tour schedule is followed and that participants are engaged throughout the tour.

Knowledge and Research:Thoroughly research and prepare information about the destination's history, culture, landmarks, and other relevant topics.

Stay updated on current events, local news, and any changes that might affect the tour itinerary.
- **Communication**:
Communicate clearly and effectively to convey historical, cultural, and geographical information to participants of varying backgrounds and languages.

Answer questions and provide accurate information in a friendly and professional manner.
- **Customer Service**:
Interact with tourists in a courteous and respectful manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during the tour.

Address any concerns or issues that participants may have.
- **Safety and Logistics**:
Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants by adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.

Manage logístical aspects of the tour, such as timing, transportation arrangements, and any necessary accommodations.
- **Engagement and Interaction**:
Facilitate interactive experiences during the tour, such as hands-on activities or opportunities for participants to engage with local culture.
- **Promotion**:
Assist in promoting tours and attracting visitors by providing information through various channels, including social media, brochures, and websites.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong communication skills, including fluency in English and potentially other languages.
- Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and interacting with diverse groups of people.
- Knowledge or interest in history, culture, and local attractions.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage groups of varying sizes.
- Responsible, punctual, and dependable.
- Student status (if applicable) or relevant training in tourism, hospitality, or related fields.
