**Travel consultant (Tour executive)**

Tour Executive is responsible for designing, planning, and managing tour packages, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maximizing sales. They work with clients to understand their needs, create itineraries, make bookings, and handle any issues that may arise during the trip. Key Responsibilities:

- **Planning and Designing Itineraries**:Creating detailed travel plans, including destinations, activities, and accommodations, based on client requirements and preferences.
- **Booking and Reservations**:Making reservations for flights, hotels, tours, and other travel-related services.
- **Customer Service**:Providing excellent customer service, answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- **Sales and Lead Generation**:Identifying potential clients, converting leads, and selling tour packages.
- **Vendor Management**:Negotiating with suppliers (e.g., hotels, tour operators) to secure the best rates and services.
- **Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution**:Addressing any problems that may arise during the tour, such as flight delays, cancellations, or unexpected events.
- **Financial Management**:Managing costs, budgets, and payments related to the tour.
- **Staying Updated**:Keeping abreast of travel trends, industry news, and regulations to provide clients with the best possible advice and service.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to research destinations, plan itineraries, and make bookings.
- Knowledge of travel-related systems, such as GDS (Global Distribution Systems).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A passion for travel and tourism.
