**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and file accurate GST and VAT returns, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements within set deadlines.
- Keep comprehensive records of all financial documents including invoices, receipts, payments, and other transaction-related evidence.
- Perform bank reconciliations and oversee bank transactions, including deposits and payments.
- Provide support during the monthly and annual financial closing processes.
- Engage in key accounting initiatives such as audits, budget formulation, and financial reporting.
- Maintain strict compliance with all governmental and fiscal policies and standards.
- Ensure precise ledger entries and manage accounting discrepancies.
- Address and resolve any issues or anomalies found in financial documentation.
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting systems and controls to boost process efficiency and precision.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing GST and VAT filings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid grasp of foundational bookkeeping practices and regulatory compliance.
