Position: Office Peon
Department: Administration
Reports to: Office Manager
Job Summary:
An Office Peon provides general support and assists with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the office. This role involves handling errands, maintaining cleanliness, and performing minor clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the office is clean and organized.
- Clean and maintain pantry and common areas.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling.
- Deliver documents and packages within the office and to external locations.
- Assist in purchasing office supplies and managing inventory.
- Photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
- Assist with data entry and basic record keeping.
- Help prepare meeting rooms and organize materials.
- Provide assistance to staff members as needed.
- Serve beverages to staff and visitors.
- Assist with event setup and coordination.
- Ensure office equipment like photocopiers and printers are in working condition.
- Report any malfunctions or repairs needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager or other senior staff.
- Support special projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of office procedures and equipment.
- Good communication - Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Frequent walking, standing, and bending.
Office timings: 10AM to 6PM
**Salary**: 15k to 17k per month
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Performance bonus
