**Materials Store Supervisor Job Description**

**Position Overview**:
You will play a crucial role in managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of construction materials. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the materials store, ensure efficient handling of requests, timely receipt of supplies, and accurate inventory management. You will work closely with construction teams, suppliers, and vendors to meet project requirements and maintain optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:
**1. Materials Procurement**:

- Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for construction materials.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure competitive deals.
- Place purchase orders and coordinate deliveries based on project timelines and requirements.

**2. Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate demand to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and losses.

**3. Materials Receiving and Inspection**:

- Receive deliveries of construction materials and verify quantities and quality.
- Conduct inspections to ensure that materials meet specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to address discrepancies or issues with deliveries.

**4. Materials Distribution**:

- Fulfill requests from construction teams for required materials.
- Organize and prioritize distribution to various construction sites based on project schedules.
- Ensure timely and efficient transportation of materials to designated locations.

**5. Supplier and Vendor Management**:

- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Address any issues or concerns related to product quality, delivery delays, or invoicing discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively to resolve issues and ensure mutual understanding of expectations.

**6. Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling and storing materials.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to material procurement and handling.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or materials handling, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

**Experience**:
