**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive social science curriculum that meets educational standards.
- Create lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Integrate current events and real-world examples to make lessons relevant and engaging.
- **Instruction**:

- Utilize various instructional techniques and resources to engage students in learning.
- Encourage students to think critically, analyze information, and develop informed opinions.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments, including tests, quizzes, projects, and assignments, to evaluate students' understanding.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures.
- Manage student behavior in a fair and respectful manner.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with current trends and best practices in social science education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and conferences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and strategies.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and concerns.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events.
- Prepare and present regular reports on student performance to school administration.
- **Resource Management**:

- Select and use appropriate educational resources, including textbooks, digital tools, and supplementary materials.
- Ensure the availability and proper use of teaching materials and resources.
- Develop and update instructional materials and resources.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:

- Encourage and support student participation in social science-related extracurricular activities, such as clubs, debates, and Model United Nations.
- Organize and oversee events and activities that promote interest in social sciences.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, or a related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.
- State teaching certification in Social Science.
- Previous teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
