The Steward/Waiter is responsible for providing excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and a guest-oriented attitude.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet guests courteously and present menus in a professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to service standards.
- Ensure tables are clean, well-set, and properly maintained before, during, and after service.
- Assist guests with menu choices, upsell specials, and suggest pairings.
- Refill water, beverages, and attend to guest needs throughout the meal.
- Clear used plates, glasses, and utensils efficiently and reset tables for the next guests.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Handle guest complaints politely and escalate to supervisor if necessary.
- Support other team members and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
**Requirements**:
- High School/Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Steward/Waiter in a hotel, restaurant, or catering service preferred.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Good communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
