Overview:

- Research VAT/GST law, reporting, and remittance requirements to keep our tax products in compliance with tax laws in all territories required.
- Maintain existing taxability rules for assigned jurisdictions by overseeing tax law changes
- Recommend and contribute to research projects that expand existing content based on market/environmental/legislative changes. You will report to Manager, Indirect Tax

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor VAT/GST legislation, administrative decisions, and judicial decisions for changes
- Based upon tax research, validate results of test transactions pre-production
- Build productive working relationships with government taxing authorities and/or legislative research units to maximize the quality of our product
- Collaborate with content research, product management and engineering to implement our solutions

Qualifications:

- A natural curiosity about technology and an interest in innovation and learning about new areas of transaction taxes
- Relevant degree (i.e. LLB or LLM)
- 2+ years' experience in VAT/GST/indirect tax, research, consulting, or audit and accounting experience
- Excellent research skills, including a logic to drill down to specific data to surface information that is important to the accuracy of the published content
- You will participate in a an innovative tax environment to understand and resolve client requests and tax concerns
- You will work with large datasets in Excel
