**The Opportunity**

NDB (Nutanix Database) team operates in a fast paced environment like a startup with 90+ people in India. NDB product (Database As a Service) was launched 4 years ago and we see tremendous customer response. We want to take the product journey from on-premises to cloud. **Your Role**
- Design and execute **performance, load, stress, endurance, and soak tests** for the NDB platform.
- Conduct **system-level testing** across distributed components to simulate real-world scenarios.
- Develop test plans, scenarios, and scripts for large-scale, distributed systems.
- Identify and simulate real-world traffic patterns and workloads to test system limits.
- Evaluate **CPU, memory, network I/O, disk throughput, connection handling**, and overall system responsiveness under load.
- Set up and maintain performance testing environments and test data at scale.
- Develop and maintain reusable, parameterized **test scripts using JMeter, Gatling, or Locust**.
- Integrate performance tests with **Prometheus/Grafana** stack for real-time monitoring and historical trend analysis.
- Continuously monitor CI/CD pipelines for performance regressions.
- Document test results, KPIs, and suggest actionable improvements.

**What You Will Bring**
- Strong scripting experience in **Python.**:

- Experience of 3.5+ years in performance testing enterprise software.
- Good knowledge of automation framework development.
- Expertise in tools like **JMeter, Gatling, Locust**, or **k6**.
- Proven ability to design meaningful, scalable performance benchmarks.
- Familiar with one of the following domains (Databases (SQL Server/Oracle), Storage(SAN/NAS/HCI), Virtualization)
- Experience with trouble shooting and debugging in environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required. Advanced degree in Computer Science preferred.

**Work Arrangement**

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
