The Desktop Publishing Specialist assists translation project managers with project planning and DTP in MS Word and other DTP platforms.

**Responsibilities: -**
- He should be able to create a TOC.
- The DTP can be made to fit the page.
- The final (translated) file would be identical to the original.
- File formatting and conversion between different file formats (ex. from PDF to Word),
- Reproducing inactive text from sources,
- The CAT tool's file alignment options
- Additional quality control duties are as required.
- The layout of translated documents that are exported from a CAT tool should be reviewed and corrected.
- Resolve document formatting problems as necessary.
- Professionally and promptly coordinate and communicate with project managers.
- Ensure that all projects under his or her supervision are formatted to the client's satisfaction.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Word.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Exp with formatting and layout requirements of languages
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
