**Role : DGM - Projects (Civil Engineer)**

**Role Definition **:We are looking for an experienced DGM/GM Projects (Civil Engineer) to manage our various **Industrial & Warehousing projects** (spread across India) right from conception through to completion.

**Qualification **:Graduate (B.Tech - Civil/B.E) or Post Graduate (M.Tech/MBA - Construction Management or similar qualification) - from recognized university.

**Experience **:5 - 10 years experience in similar job position

**Requirements**:

- He should know Tendering process, BOQ preparation, measurement & billing
- He should be familiar with IS codes & Delhi Schedule of Rates
- Experience in handling Steel Building Projects (PEB) like Industrial units and Warehouses
- Should be able to handle 5 - 7 large scale projects with the support of jr. architects and engineers
- Knowledge in cross checking structural consultants drawings for errors and omissions
- Should take 100% responsibility of the project
- Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
- He should have his own vehicle for commute - preferably 4 wheeler
- Good written and verbal communication skills

**Preferences**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Acting as an interface between the client, contractors and consultants to resolve all project issues and arrive at optimal solutions.
- Co-ordination with sub consultants and follow ups with them for drawings/BOQ etc.
- Accomplishing site visits in Delhi NCR & PAN India (1-2 days) for different projects and preparing relevant documentation including agenda, site visit reports and minutes of meetings.
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
- Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
- Complete Project Management of specific projects
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
- Assess potential risks from various angles

**Tasks & Activities**
- **Pre-construction Stage Activities**:_
- _Following up the client for the final consultancy work order._
- _Deriving cost estimates of the project for an initial level analysis._
- _Drafting Letter of Intent for contractors and consultants as per the project requirement._
- _Preparing estimates & bar charts that are required for the smooth execution of the project._
- _Preparation of tenders and BOQs for various contractual activities, empaneling and short listing of contractors based on pre-qualification, handling the comparative analysis of rates, chairing the tendering meetings._
- _Ensuring the timely issuance of various drawings to the site for smooth execution of work with the help of architects, engineers and consultants._
- **Construction Stage Activities**:_
- _Maintaining the record of approvals received from the client, contractors, consultants, etc._
- _Approving shop drawings and contractor bills as required._
- _Guiding and managing a team of engineers and architects to check the drawings, designs, engineering calculations, contractor bills, JMRs and BBS._
- _Keeping track of project cost, quality, safety, schedule, resources, etc. over the duration of the project. Taking remedial measures for contingencies._
- _Timely issuance of consultancy bills and regular follow-ups of payment._
- **Closure Stage Activities**:_
- _Completion of all the activities mentioned in the snag list._
- _Verification of extra items in the final bill and performing rate analysis. Reconciliation of free of cost materials as spent by the client._
- _Handing over the project to the client with all requirements fulfilled as per as-built drawings._
- _Collecting completion certificate and arranging professional photography of the site - for our portfolio_
- _Preparation of completion certificate for the contractors_
- **General Tasks**:_
- _Assign tasks to the team and ensure mínimal wastage of manpower_
- _Report to Principal Architect with all project updates_
- _Ensure proper Data Management_
- _Organizing Weekly Project Review Meetings_
- _Master Chart for Steel/cement Consumption and same for monthly basis_
- _Follow up with client for our consultancy fees_

**Performance Measurement Metrics**:

- Completion Time for each project
- Client satisfaction
- Budget escalation
- Timely Release of consultancy fees from the client
- Efficiency & Productivity of team working under this position

**Salary**: Up to ₹900,000.00 per year
