**Position Overview**:
Ramagya School is seeking an enthusiastic, approachable, and highly motivated **Admission Counselor** to join our admissions team. This role will be essential in guiding prospective families through the admissions process, answering questions about the school, and ensuring that every student and family has a positive experience as they explore joining our community. The Admission Counselor will work directly with students and parents, provide information about our school’s programs and culture, and help foster a strong relationship between prospective families and our school.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Prospective Student Outreach**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, answering inquiries regarding admissions procedures, curriculum, extracurricular activities, and financial aid.
- Conduct informational sessions, both in-person and virtually, to provide detailed overviews of the school’s academic programs, values, and culture.
- Attend local and regional school fairs, open houses, and other recruitment events to promote the school to prospective families.
- **Application Review & Counseling**:

- Provide one-on-one counseling to prospective students and their parents, helping them determine if the school is a good fit for their academic and personal goals.
- Work with prospective families to ensure timely and accurate completion of all necessary forms and paperwork.
- **Tours & Campus Visits**:

- Lead school tours for prospective families, highlighting key features of the school, such as classrooms, facilities, extracurricular offerings, and student life.
- Coordinate and host shadow days or other opportunities for prospective students to experience a day at the school.
- Provide a warm, welcoming, and informative experience for all families visiting the school.
- **Student & Family Engagement**:

- Provide personalized advice and recommendations based on each family’s unique needs and interests.
- Track and follow up with leads to ensure all inquiries are addressed and that families feel supported in their decision-making process.
- **Collaboration with Faculty and Staff**:

- Collaborate with academic departments, the admissions team, and other school staff to ensure a seamless admissions experience for families.
- Communicate regularly with faculty, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, up-to-date information about school programs and policies.
- Support the coordination of internal and external events, such as admissions interviews, school fairs, and community outreach initiatives..

**Qualifications**:

- **Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Previous experience in admissions, student services, or a related field, preferably within an educational setting.
- Familiarity with the private or independent school environment is preferred.
- **Skills & Abilities**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential student information with discretion.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of student information systems (SIS) or admissions software is a plus.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
