**Full job description**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instructional Duties**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Facilitate engaging classroom activities and discussions that promote active learning.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments such as quizzes, tests, and assignments to evaluate students’ understanding and progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on students' work and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of students' grades, attendance, and progress.
- **Student Support**:

- Offer individualized support to students who need additional help with their studies.
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Address and manage student behaviour in a fair and constructive manner.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Organize and manage classroom resources and materials effectively.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement classroom rules and routines to support a positive learning atmosphere.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and update the curriculum and instructional materials.
- Integrate relevant themes, projects, and cross-curricular activities to enhance student learning.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest teaching practices and educational trends.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and relevant training sessions.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Prepare and submit lesson plans, reports, and student assessments as required by school policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas needing improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. A teaching qualification or certification (such as B.Ed/ DLED/ NTT.) is preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience teaching at the primary level is desirable. Experience with curriculum development and student assessment is a plus

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
