Job Description: Piping Draftsman

**Responsibilities**:
1. Drafting and Designing:

- Create detailed drawings and plans for piping systems and gas pipelines using CAD

software.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical drawings to produce

accurate and precise drafts.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop piping layouts and

designs that meet project requirements.
- Understand P&ID desired BOQ, Primary, Details BOQ and Material specification.
- Get approval from concerned dept or client.

2. Project Support:

- Assist in project engineering activities, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting

for piping and gas line projects.
- Review project documents and participate in project meetings to ensure alignment

with drafting requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams to address design changes, updates, and revisions

throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Field Work:

- Travel to project sites as needed (approximately 20-30% of the time) to conduct field

surveys, measurements, and inspections.
- Work closely with field engineers and technicians to verify site conditions and collect

data for drafting purposes.
- Provide on-site support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases

of piping projects as required.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project deliverables,

including as-built drawings and operation manuals, Measurement at sight, with

client reference sheet sign off for billing Purpose.
- Maintain accurate records of drafting activities, project progress, and changes for

reference and future use.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure

timely and accurate reporting.

5. Quality and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all drafting and design

activities.
- Perform quality checks on drawings to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to

project specifications.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in drafting work to maintain quality and

integrity.
- Adhere to Company standards as well.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Draftsman ITI or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience as a piping draftsman or similar role, preferably in the oil and gas

industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Invertors, etc.) and drafting principles.
- Knowledge of project engineering concepts and practices.
- Flexibility to travel to project sites as needed (approximately 20-30% of the time).
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle workload, work time, and

location requirements effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Location: Talawade, Pune.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
