We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Marine Surveyor to:
2) To support the monitoring and testing of ballast water treatment systems (BWTS) aboard vessels and at port facilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with international environmental regulations, especially those set by the IMO Ballast Water Management Convention and US Coast Guard standards.

3) Conduct onboard Visual and Sampling Check with reference to the VSCP

Key Responsibilities (Bunker):

- Perform pre-delivery and post-delivery surveys to verify bunker quantities on both supplying and receiving vessels.
- Measure and calculate bunker fuel quantities using standard practices (e.g., tank gauging, temperature and density corrections).
- Witness sampling and ensure proper sealing and labelling of bunker samples in accordance with MARPOL Annex VI.
- Monitor the entire bunker transfer process, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or abnormalities.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely bunker survey reports and documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance during bunker operations.
- Liaise with vessel crew, bunker suppliers, and port authorities during operations.
- Stay updated with applicable regulations and best practices.

**Key Responsibilities (Water)**:

- Conduct onboard sampling and testing of ballast water in accordance with IMO and local environmental regulations.
- Collect, document, and analyze water samples for biological and chemical parameters.
- Prepare and submit accurate compliance reports and laboratory analysis documentation.
- Liaise with shipboard crew, port authorities, and environmental regulators.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ballast water regulations and emerging treatment technologies.
- Support inspections, audits, and commissioning of ballast water treatment systems.
- Ensure safe working practices are followed during operations aboard ships and in port areas.

**Key Responsibilities (IHM)**:

- Document Review & Analysis
- Collect and analyse vessel drawings, certificates, and previous material declarations
- Develop a plan identifying sampling points based on risk and accessibility.
- Submit the plan to the selected classification society for approval, if required
- Conduct visual inspections of equipment, tanks, coatings, insulation, etc.
- Perform representative sampling of materials (e.g., gaskets, insulation, paints) to test
- IHM Report Preparation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
