**Responsibilities**

- **Ordering and Interpreting Tests**:

- They order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X-rays, and imaging scans, to aid in diagnosis.
- **Emergency Care**:

- Many MDs are involved in emergency medicine, providing immediate care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries.
- **Coordination of Care**:

- MDs often act as the central figure in a patient's healthcare team, coordinating with other specialists and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

**Patient-Related Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Communication**:

- MDs must communicate effectively with patients, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and potential risks, and answering their questions.
- **Patient Education**:
