**Role Overview**
**Role Description and Key Responsibilities**
The role involves tasks including but not limited to
- Export-Import Documentation: Preparing and maintaining all required documentation for international shipments, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs declarations, and other export-import related paperwork.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all export-import transactions and documentation for future reference and auditing purposes.
- Customs Clearance: Facilitating customs clearance processes and working with customs authorities to ensure smooth movement of goods across borders.
- Payment and Finance: Co-ordination with customers for letters of credit, and managing financial aspects related to export-import transactions. Also documents clearance to banks pertaining to RBI regulation.
- Submission & monitoring of all export & import documentation which need to be submitted to the bank for closing import & export related transactions.
- Completing all duty payments and import clearance processes before the cargo arrives at Indian Port, ensuring timely arrival of products and commodities.
- Freight Management: Coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transportation companies to arrange the timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.Handling logistics activities, such as obtaining freight quotes from various freight forwarders.
- Checking all Freight Forwarder bills and payment release.
- Supplier Service: Providing support to international clients and addressing any inquiries or concerns related to shipments and deliveries.
- Negotiations and Contracts: Negotiating contracts with international suppliers, and distributors to establish terms and conditions for export-import transactions.
- Coordinating with CHA/Freight Forwarders on shipment documentation (BLs and Shipping Bills)
- Preparing reports, Export, Import Tracker, Freight Quote Comparison & Cost Saving sheet to apprise management for Import operations.
- Working on Draw Back Scheme, checking & tracking all the details on the ICE gate.
- Renovation of all compliance related certification and documentation.
- Import IGCRD Concessional Bond and compliances for IGCRD.
- Handling all Customs & DGFT related work & documentation and routine visits to the department office.
**Desired Qualifications and Experience**
- 1-2+ years of experience in handling import and export shipment documentation
- Any Bachelor/Masters degree in finance
**Desired Skills and Attributes**
- Knowledge and understanding of PDF tools and Microsoft Excel, Word
- Good verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
**Location**:
Near Chakan, Pune, India (on-site)
**Pay and Benefits**:
Competitive pay as per market standard, will be evaluated based on profile and skills.
Pay: ₹290,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
