**Job Description**:
SRE - C1

Experience- Min - 10 years-
- Key responsibilities- Advise customers, SRE principles with implementation strategies and plan accompanied by clear articulation of benefits
- Gap analysis in the overall IT process and operational procedures in customer place to suggest best practices ( tools & techniques)

towards the improvement of IT systems? reliability
- NFR review/gathering towards defining/determining SLO/SLI and error budget for systems in scope
- Recommend Reliability/resiliency assessment framework, tools, and techniques with plan for assessment
- Review and recommend tools, techniques, and strategy towards 360
- Observability coverage
- Review customer?s Overall IT operational procedure and suggest Solution, strategy. Tools and techniques targeting ?zero touch? recovery
- Identify areas of automation for manual tasks and suggest solutions, utilities, and plan for implementation
- Participate in the solution design working alongside Cloud, Infra/Apps architects, domain consultants that fit the purpose
- Interact with Development Architects, Operations, and test Leads for enforcement of best practices in the respective areas to ensure sustainable software releases

Key Skills
- Deeper understanding of SRE concepts such as SLO, SLI and error budgeting and experience in Non-functional requirements management; gathering, determination, enforcement, assessment, and assurance
- Should have worked on a minimum of 5 projects in performance monitoring of Applications / Infra Domain and Deployment experience in APM tools & Cloud monitoring tools.
- Should have experience handling distributed (preferably multi-cloud) infrastructure and strong working knowledge of Git and code-review systems such as Gerrit, Bitbucket, and GitHub
- Knowledge on Change management, Agile, ITIL concepts, SOP creation, Life Cycle management is a Plus.
- A deep understanding of CI/CD technologies & tools and good understanding of AIOps

- DevOps Tools Skills: Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins
- APM Tools Skills: AppDynamics, Dynatrace, ELK, New Relic, eG Innovation, Splunk, BMC Trusight
- Infra Tools Skills: Microfocus, SolarWinds
- Cloud Monitoring tools: Cloud Watch, Azure App Insight, DataDog
- Scripting Skills: Java Script, Python, Power Shell, Unix Shell
- Fundamental Knowledge: Dockers, Kubernetes
