Heavy Driver

**Job description**:

- Operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailers, and specialized construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials, equipment, and goods to and from construction sites, warehouses, and other designated locations.
- Follow traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring roadworthiness.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring secure transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients to coordinate transportation activities.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and schedules to ensure timely and reliable delivery of goods.

**Essential Skills**:

- Valid commercial driver's license with appropriate endorsements for heavy vehicles
- Proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver, preferably in the construction or logistics industry.
- Good driving record with no major accidents or traffic violations.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and defensive driving techniques.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading tasks.
- Politeness, good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)
