As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Nursing Tutor with an MSc in Nursing to join our academic team.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Instruction**:

- Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical sessions on various nursing topics, including medical-surgical nursing, pediatric nursing, nursing research, ethics, and leadership.
- Develop and prepare course materials such as lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct engaging and interactive classroom discussions, fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning environment.
- **Student Support and Guidance**:

- Provide academic and professional guidance to students, including advice on coursework, clinical placements, and career development.
- Offer mentorship and encouragement to students in both theoretical learning and clinical practice, promoting student success.
- Monitor and assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their knowledge and skills.
- **Curriculum Development and Evaluation**:

- Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the nursing curriculum, ensuring it is aligned with industry standards and academic requirements.
- Participate in curriculum review processes to ensure relevance and accuracy of content.
- **Assessments and Grading**:

- Design and evaluate assignments, practical assessments, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide timely feedback on assessments.
- Participate in academic reviews and assessments in accordance with the academy’s guidelines.
- **Professional Development and Collaboration**:

- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in nursing education.
- Collaborate with colleagues and faculty members to enhance the academic experience at Kanika’s Nursing Academy.
- Participate in departmental meetings and activities, contributing to the academy’s growth and success.

**Qualifications**:

- **Essential**:

- Master of Science in Nursing (MSc Nursing) from a recognized institution.
- Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license (if applicable).
- Strong understanding of nursing theories, practices, and ethical standards.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for nursing education and a commitment to student success.
- **Desirable**:

- Previous teaching or tutoring experience in a nursing program.
- Experience in clinical practice in areas such as medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, or critical care.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Familiarity with educational technologies and online learning platforms.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position.
- Primarily based at Kanika’s Nursing Academy, with occasional clinical site visits or workshops.
