Job : SMT Operator

Job Description: Set-Up - SMT Machines
- Knowledge of safety and operation of Pick-n-Place machines as per WI or equipment manual.
- Load feeders according to setup sheet using WI or machine manual.
- Understand feeder sizes and pitches.
- Component Identification knowledge
- Verify components & feeder on job card.
- Restock parts by bin location.
- Confirm Traveler & BOM revs match.
- Determine which SMT line product will be run.
- Load program on machine(s)
- Print out documentation for job incl set-up sheets.

Basic Operation SMT
- Ability to run Pick & Place and re flow ovens.
- Perform machine operator processes (startup, loading a recipe, adjusting the conveyor belt, production runs, shutdown, and alarms).
- Makes minor machine adjustments such as placement of parts, measurement of components and correct package size, clears machine jams.
- Notifies supervisor or maintenance mechanic for machine malfunctions.
- Positions PCBs on machine bed holding fixtures, starts machine, and monitors machine operation.
- Understanding of solder paste print process.
- Ability to write & read in English to complete Batch Log and Parts Changeover Logs.
- Records production information such as production levels, machine downtime, and defects.

Basic Operation AOI
- Knowledge of safety and operation of AOI machine per WI or equipment manual.
- Ability to run AOI machine independently; startup, loading recipe, adjusting conveyor belt, production runs, shutdown, and Inspection.
- Ability to write & read in English to complete Batch Log and Parts Changeover Logs

Product Inspection
- Overview knowledge of IPC-A-610
- Conduct in-process inspection.
- Knowledge of inspection process, inspect one section at a time, looking at component placement, orientation, polarity, value and missing parts.
- Visually inspect assembly for obvious damage, non-conformance, cleanliness, component mounting and installation, and soldering quality
- Routes defective boards to repair Station.

Experience : 2 to 5 Years in Electronics, Electrical, Industry.

Preferred Industry Type: Electronic Manufacturing Services.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
