**Essential Duties**_:_** _Main purpose of job (List primary duties that occupy a majority of incumbent time in order of importance)_
- Supports the Finance Manager and Other team members in day-to-day activities of the Finance team including Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Treasury, recording of transactions in accounting softwares/ERP, and creating/managing various trackers as required from time to time to ensure proper control.
- Would be required to keep track of all expenses and other financial transactions, mainly involving expense entry, and record keeping and reconciliations.
- Creating documentary support for transactions as per RTI (Research Triangle Institute)’s Procurement and other related Policies and applicable Statutory Compliances.
- Support in managing bank accounts, including preparation of monthly bank reconciliations, MIS reports.
- Support other initiatives as required from time to time including but not limited to supporting in routine/one-time reporting, compliance support, various audits, various MIS reports.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities_**
- Should have good exposure and knowledge of Indian compliances including but not limited to processing and recording of TDS, GST, etc.
- Master’s degree in accountancy, finance, business administration (specializing in finance), or other relevant field, or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, or accountancy.
- Prior experience of working with International and/or U.S. based organization(s) is preferable.
- Prior experience of working in Service Sector (corporates) is preferable.
- Good communication Skills (Verbal as well as Written).
- Ability to work under pressure, in tight deadlines and multi-tasking.
- Results-oriented and focused, with the ability to follow guidelines and controls required of the position.
- Ability to use various softwares (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point etc) and experience of working on accounting software’s (preferably ERP’s). Working exposure in QuickBooks and Tally will be added advantage.
- Ability to tactfully communicate with various levels of the organization to request or provide information. Demonstrated team player with effective cross-cultural interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with others as well as to work independently.
