Role: Big Data Engineer Experience: 3 # 6 years (C2 C3) Job Location: India Role Description: A Big Data Engineer handles the ETL jobs, performs Data quality checks & create variables from data.
Responsibilities: - Data ingestion from - DQ c hecks - Handling ETL - Building features variable Required Skills: - Should be very clear on Extract Transform Load(ETL) concepts and hold expertise in extraction methods and routing filtering lookup transformation aggregation principles - Should be able to use Spark Scala to process data from Azure data lake - Experience in downloading data from UDL & ingesting in PDS - Expert in Spark Scala for structured, semi-structured and un-structured data processing - Hands-on knowledge in Azure D atabricks - Should be clear on designing constructs for different data sets and come up with reusable templates for the same - Should have experience of implementing Data Quality methodologies to pre-empt errors in patterns and to identify Data Quali ty issues. Added Advantage: - Knowledge in data science analytics machine learning - Working experience in CPG domain.
