- Job Title: Account Executive
- Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (Onsite)
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department onsite at our Ahmedabad location.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements using Oracle Accounting Hub.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, specifically focusing on TDS and GST matters.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits by providing the necessary information for external auditors.
- Establish and enhance accounting practices, controls, and financial procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all financial transactions, ensuring that financial information is consistent and easily accessible.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, balancing accounts as required.
- Effectively collaborate with company management and staff to develop and implement strategies that improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar role in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in using Oracle Accounting Hub and a thorough understanding of TDS and GST requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, management, and external parties.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and entering financial information.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and financial reporting.
- Key Responsibilities
- Leverage expertise in Oracle Accounting Hub to optimize processes and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with TDS and GST regulations, and staying informed about changes in statutory laws and regulations.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's financials to provide insights that support strategic decision-making and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to understand business needs and objectives, providing exceptional service and support.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
