We are hiring for **EHS Officer **

**Location**: Ambernath (Thane)

**Qualification Required **:BE - Mechanical/Electrical

**Experience Required **:5+ years with manufacturing industry

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards in the manufacturing environment
- Develop and implement effective safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Investigate workplace accidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on workplace safety and hazard awareness.
- Monitor and manage environmental impact within the manufacturing facility (waste management, water usage, emissions, etc.).
- Conduct environmental assessments and audits, and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare documents, policies & procedures related to safety
- Oversee and track hazardous material handling, storage, and disposal to comply with environmental standards.
- Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions to ensure they are conducive to the health and safety of employees.
- Maintain records of environmental, health, and safety activities, including inspections, audits, and training sessions.
- Conduct training programs for employees on EHS practices, regulatory requirements, and emergency preparedness.
- Conducting internal audits as per the IMS standards.
- Provide regular training's as per the training calender.
- Ensure the safety practices are in line with the Factories Act 1948

**Key Skills Required**:

- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and EHS management software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present EHS data and recommendations to various audiences

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
