Job Summary:
The Education Counselor provides guidance and support to students in academic, personal, and professional development. They help students explore career options, make informed educational choices, and overcome challenges to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Academic Guidance:
1. Advise students on course selection, academic planning, and graduation requirements.

2. Help students set academic goals and develop study skills.

3. Monitor student progress and provide interventions when needed.

Career Guidance:
1. Administer career assessments and interpret results.

2. Explore career options with students and develop job search strategies.

3. Organize career fairs, workshops, and guest lectures.

Personal Guidance:
1. Counsel students on personal issues, such as social relationships, self-esteem, and mental health.

2. Provide crisis intervention and referrals to external resources.

3. Foster a supportive and inclusive school environment.

College and University Planning:
2. Assist with scholarship and financial aid research.

3. Coordinate college visits and tours.

Communication and Collaboration:
1. Work with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.

2. Communicate with colleges and universities to facilitate student transitions.

3. Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations.

Record Keeping and Reporting:
1. Maintain accurate student records and counseling notes.

2. Prepare reports on student progress and counseling outcomes.

Professional Development:
1. Stay updated on educational trends, research, and best practices.

2. Participate in workshops, conferences, and professional organizations.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in School Counseling, Guidance, or related field.

2. Certification/Licensure in School Counseling (e.g., LPC, LCPC, NCC).

3. Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to work with diverse populations and needs.

5. Strong organizational and time management skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 48 per week
