A PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) in Mathematics is responsible for teaching mathematical concepts to students at the higher secondary level or in undergraduate courses. Their responsibilities include:
- **Planning and teaching lessons**Create lesson plans and worksheets, and present lessons to help students understand and learn
- **Evaluating students**Set assessment tasks, mark student work, and evaluate and grade students based on assignments and exams
- **Maintaining records**Keep accurate records of student attendance, academic progress, and personal management skills
- **Communicating with parents**Provide feedback to parents during PTMs or when needed
- **Participating in school activities**Participate in extracurricular activities and attend staff meetings, webinars, and conferences
Some qualifications for a PGT in Mathematics include:
- A Post Graduate degree in Mathematics with 1st Division
- A Bachelor of Education degree
- Fluency in English
- Efficiency in computers
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a PGT in a reputed school
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
