**Job Summary**: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Coding Specialist to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with a passion for healthcare and coding. The Medical Coding Specialist will be responsible for accurately coding medical diagnoses and procedures to ensure proper billing and compliance with regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review patient medical records and documentation to extract relevant information.
- Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and coding queries.
- Assist in maintaining coding accuracy and minimizing claim denials.
- Participate in training sessions and continuing education to stay updated on coding practices.
- Support the billing department by providing necessary coding information and resolving discrepancies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related field preferred.
- Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCA) is a plus but not required for freshers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
