To have close link with the patients and to carry out the decisions of consultants regarding patient care
- To follow the duty roster prepared by A.M.S.
- To be conversant with Code Blue and Medico-legal cases.
- To duly inform the A.M.S on duty and police authorities in death /discharge of any M.L.C.case.
- To prepare discharge/deaths summaries
- To attend all new admissions within half an hour of admission.
- To examine the patient and write notes on case sheet
- To inform consultant on telephone about the patient’s admission, condition and take his advice regarding investigation and treatment.
- To ensure that sister in charge in the ward is aware of all instructions regarding the patient.
- To fill up the referral form and inform the concerned consultant in case of an urgent referral.
- To take and give over at time of change of duties
- To take detailed rounds in the assigned wards and put notes in all case sheets.
- To go for rounds with consultants and to ensure that their instructions are carried over.
- To take appropriate consents from attendants/patients.
- To keep the attendants well informed about the condition of patient.
- To prepare death certificates
- To inform consultant in case of emergency and carry out the orders.
- To follow up Day care admissions and discharges

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
