Data Scientist- Associate

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to work with large and diverse data sets (structured/unstructured) and present conclusions to key stakeholders
- Act as a Data Scientist for data handling, extraction, manipulation; creating structured form of data and pulling tangible insights from dHave an understanding of econometric/statistical modeling and analysis techniques such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, multivariate statistical analysis, time series techniques, optimization techniques, and statistical packages such as R, Python, Spark etc.
- Individual and team contributor role in working through project lifecycle - Defining data requirements to data harmonization to analysis to translating model results into business insights and creating a presentation to demonstrate these insights.
- Collaborating closely with other team members, understand dependencies and be agile in adapting as per project requirements

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities**
- Data Scientist required for Home Lending Data & Analytics, supporting key strategic business priorities across HL Origination
- Atleast 4+ years of AI/ML experience
- Hands on experience in building & implementing multiple best in class Machine Learning models
- In-depth understanding of multiple ML algorithms including deep learning & implementation including Logistic regression, XGBoost, Random Forest, RNN, CNN,etc
- Very good programming skills in SQL & Python
- Should have excellent programming skills in SAS including SAS Macros
- Preferably from Statistics or Mathematics Background with experience in Banking Domain
