**M**ain purpose of the role: *

This role is an exciting opportunity to independently manage programmes and contribute to the development of new programmes across CIFF’s Sexual & Reproductive Health portfolio. It is a fast-paced and incredibly diverse role that will mainly focus on SRHR. Your contribution will be integral to supporting CIFF and its partners to deliver and inform both portfolios’ strategies and work on a wide portfolio of programmes.
In this position, you will provide high quality programme management, administrative and research support to Director and Manager of Sexual & Reproductive Health portfolios.
The Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) portfolio aims to improve the sexual and reproductive health of young people. The role will contribute to SRHR team’s objectives to:
1. **Change facts-on-the-ground**:Through transforming SRHR service delivery in India from provider-controlled to user controlled delivery, that equips millions
with the tools and choices to take control of their SRH
2. People **centred design & delivery**:Demonstrate, deliver and inspire others to
adopt a next generation of -focused SRH programmes, leveraging the digital
transformation in health
3. Provide **philanthropic leadership **on choices and demographic transition
4. **Build sector resilience **by bringing system level changes that lead to informed choices through improved financial allocations, program management and delivery channels.
5. **Leverage**:Increase the proportionality and diversity of co-funding

Working across SRHR portfolios, this role will support the Director and Manager of Sexual & Reproductive Health in India. It will also entail collaborating with the portfolios’ counterparts based in London, Kenya and Ethiopia, as well as working closely with the Evidence, Measurement and Evaluation teams. This role will also require close collaboration with the Strategic Engagement and Communications team and the GIRL Capital team which focuses on transitioning girls from school to work.

Position Responsibilities*

**Strategy & planning**
Undertake insightful horizon scanning, research and analysis on trends such as preventing severe acute malnutrition, preventing and managing unintended pregnancies, contraceptive choices and polices related to these. All of this with the aim of supporting the team in determining strategic priorities and setting operational plans.
Develop briefs on programmatic insights and emerging global and regional trends including developing and presenting this research to contribute and inform the strategy planning process and day-to-day operations.
- Support the Director in the organization, coordination, documentation and professional presentation of outputs from the strategy and planning process
- Contribute to the development of pipeline investments alongside associated evidence base to ensure it is outcome focussed, compelling and effective.
- Support end-to-end management of existing investments suggesting improvements where appropriate, to enable the team to deliver and monitor its philanthropic activity efficiently and effectively
- Work closely with members of the Finance and Legal team to coordinate the development of grant agreements, to forecast and process grant payments and to enable effective grant management and reporting within the organisation
- In collaboration with partners, support regular reviews of the progress and performance of programmes under delivery to identify problems and delays, and implement effective solutions.
- Working closely with SRHR, other CIFF teams and stakeholders, to build and maintain a range of relevant knowledge and information resources, that enable the teams to access high quality intelligence, analysis and data to inform current and future programme activity.
- Review relevant academic studies, policies, government schemes which may be effectively used and provide recommendations to address gaps and improvements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners across locations and geographies to conduct research projects to inform SRHR activities.
- Undertake other specific research projects required, as directed by members of the teams or emerging needs
- Represent CIFF at conferences, workshops, professional events
- Maintain healthy, respectful and constructive relationships with our partners and grantees, including dealing with senior experts from around the world
- In accordance with corporate guidelines and requirements, maintain accurate and up-to-date customer relationship management records and systems on behalf of the team, to ensure CIFF can take a coordinated and professional approach to managing stakeholders and partners.
