Plant Operator

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Plant Operator to manage and operate our biodiesel production facility. The operator will ensure smooth plant functioning, monitor equipment, and maintain safety and efficiency throughout the production process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor plant machinery such as reactors, distillation units, pumps, compressors, and utilities.
- Maintain daily log sheets, production records, and shift reports.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety protocols.
- Regularly inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance or report malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Monitor parameters like temperature, pressure, and flow rates using SCADA/DCS or manual systems.
- Control the input of raw materials (e.g., oils, methanol, ethanol, catalysts) and track output levels of biodiesel and byproducts.
- Assist during plant startups, shutdowns, and cleaning procedures.
- Cooperate with the quality control team for product sampling and testing.
- Comply with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience in operating chemical or biodiesel processing plants (Freshers may be considered for trainee roles).
- Basic knowledge of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and chemical handling.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts (Day/Night).

- Knowledge of control systems (SCADA, PLC preferred)

**Work Conditions**:

- Rotational shift duty
- Plant-based work environment with exposure to heat, noise, and chemicals
- Use of PPE is mandatory

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month

- Day shift
- Rotational shift
