Rockstar is on the lookout for a Data Governance Coordinator who possesses a passion for both games and creating powerful insights from data. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's large game development studio in Bangalore, India.

**WHAT WE DO**:

- The Rockstar Analytics team provides insights and actionable results to a wide variety of stakeholders across the organization in support of their decision making.
- We perform complex analyses, build reporting solutions, and help develop data that drives forward actionable, efficient insight delivery to help inform decisions across multiple stakeholder groups and development projects.
- We drive high-impact improvements via hands-on exploration of data, dashboards, statistical analyses, and predictive models.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collaborate closely with the Principal Data Governance Lead to implement a company-wide data governance adoption policy aimed at enhancing data quality, accessibility, and sensitive data protection through adjustments to organizational behavior policies, standards, and governance metrics.
- Coordinate company-wide Data Governance Initiatives by implementing the Data Governance roadmap, following up with stakeholders and partners for action items and implementation progress.
- Develop reports and surveys to monitor Data Governance Tool Adoption and stakeholder satisfaction with existing tools and processes.
- Ensure stakeholders have easy access to information about available data and reports.
- Assist in building knowledge management through comprehensive documentation strategies utilizing tools like Alation and Confluence.
- Take ownership of administrative processes related to various data tools and programs, including Tableau (BI), data quality, Alation (Data Management), and data governance, including but not limited to access provisioning, user audits, and adoption reports.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for Tools, Processes and Data Models that can be used as a guide for both new and existing Data Engineers / Data Scientists.
- Create Data Dictionaries and Data Lineages for existing Code base to support Data Engineers and Data Scientists.
- Work alongside Data Engineering to devise and continuously evaluate work processes for automation opportunities, error reduction, efficient documentation, and productivity enhancement.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the data field.
- Develop reports and surveys to monitor data governance tool adoption and stakeholder satisfaction with existing tools and processes.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2+ years of work experience in data governance (Data Stewardship/ Information Security/ Data Compliance/ Master Data Management).
- 3+ years of experience in a data-related role preferably in Data Architecture, Master Data Management, Modeling or Data Analysis.
- Familiar with data management tools and technologies (e.g., data cataloging tools, metadata management tools
- like Databricks, Alation, Collibra, Confluence etc.).
- Experience in creating Data Models, Data Lineages, Data Dictionaries and other Data Related Documentations.
- Proficient in cross team collaboration to implement data governance adoption policies.
- Proficient in building knowledge management through comprehensive documentation strategies, utilizing tools like Alation and Confluence.
- Proven track record of taking ownership of administrative processes related to various data tools and programs, including Tableau (BI), Data Quality, Alation (Data Management).
- Experience in an agile fast-paced video game or technology environment.
- Passion for driving business value through the use of high-quality data and advocacy for the value of data as an asset.

**SKILLS**:

- Exceptional ability to communicate at all levels, including technical ones.
- Excellent project management and presentation skills, and able to quickly generate a breadth of documentation from training materials to C-suite presentations.
- Ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures for tools, processes, and data models, serving as a guide for both new and existing Data Engineers/Data Scientists.
- Skilled in creating data dictionaries and data lineages for existing code bases to support Data Engineers and Data Scientists.
- Ability to manage numerous projects concurrently and strategically, prioritizing when necessary.
