1. **Initial Consultation and Assessment**
- **Medical Evaluation**: Conduct a thorough medical history review to assess the patient's overall health, including any underlying conditions that might affect the success of the transplant (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
- **Examine Scalp and Hair**: Check the donor area (typically the back and sides of the scalp) to ensure there are enough healthy hair follicles for transplantation.
- **Address Concerns**: Educate the patient about hair transplant procedures, risks, recovery process, and realistic expectations.
- 2. **Pre-Operative Care**:

- **Preparation for Surgery**: Ensure the patient is medically fit for the procedure by performing necessary tests (e.g., blood work, ECG) and evaluating their current medications to avoid complications.
- **Consent**: Explain the procedure in detail, including the potential risks and benefits, and obtain informed consent.
- **Pre-Operative Instructions**: Provide guidelines on what to do and what to avoid (e.g., stopping certain medications, avoiding alcohol or smoking) prior to the surgery.
