English Teacher

Job Summary:
An English Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality English language and literature education to students, fostering a stimulating and engaging learning environment, and promoting students' academic and personal development. The role involves preparing lesson plans, conducting classes, evaluating student performance, and participating in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Instruction and Classroom Management**:

- Develop and deliver effective lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Teach various aspects of English, including grammar, literature, writing, and reading comprehension.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students and accommodate different learning styles.
- Maintain a well-organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain order and discipline.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and administer tests, quizzes, and assignments to assess students' understanding of the material.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Prepare and report grades and other required documentation.
- **Student Support and Development**:

- Provide additional support to students who need extra help or enrichment.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and a love of reading and writing.
- Promote positive student behaviors and attitudes toward learning.
- Offer guidance and support for students' academic and personal development.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Collaborate with colleagues to review and develop the English curriculum.
- Integrate technology and multimedia resources into the curriculum to enhance learning.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in English education and incorporate them into teaching.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills and knowledge.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational conferences.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to improve instructional practices.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events.
- Work with other teachers to coordinate interdisciplinary projects and activities.

Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, English Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or licensure in the relevant state or country.
- **Experience**:

- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not always required.
- Experience in a classroom setting and familiarity with educational technology.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of English language and literature and the ability to teach them effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with technology and educational software.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move educational materials and equipment.

Work Environment:

- Standard classroom environment.
- Occasional field trips and outdoor activities.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 3 years (preferred)
