Qc Technologist

We are looking for a QC- Technologist for our Naga Hanuman Fish Packers.

Job Location: Anandapuram, Palavalasa, Visakhapatnam

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine Quality Control testing on raw materials, water samples, feed ingredients, and final products in accordance with standard protocols.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as **autoclaves, hot air ovens, water baths (static & shaking), and centrifuges**.
- Conduct microbiological and chemical analyses to ensure product safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and record environmental parameters related to aquaculture operations.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** for QC activities.
- Ensure all laboratory tests are carried out as per **industry-specific requirements** for fisheries and aquaculture.
- Preparation of Subcultures of Bacteria.
- Checking Sodium metabisulphite in Shrimp.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports for internal and external audits.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the QC department.
- Coordinate with production and R&D teams to ensure product quality and process optimization.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Microbiology, Fisheries Science, Biotechnology, Aquaculture Technology, or a related field**.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a QC role within the **aquaculture or fisheries industry** preferred.
- Proficiency in handling laboratory equipment and familiarity with analytical testing procedures.
- Knowledge of **GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards** relevant to aquaculture.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
