**Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist**

Position Summary:
Nurturers Centre. for Diverse Learners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Lead to join our team. As the Speech-Language Pathology Lead, you will take a leadership role in overseeing the provision of speech and language services to children with diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement comprehensive speech-language programs, provide clinical guidance, and ensure the highest quality of care. This position requires strong leadership abilities, clinical expertise, and a passion for empowering children with diverse learning needs.

**Responsibilities**:
As a lead for the speech language pathology department, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
1. Providing leadership and direction to the speech-language pathology team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children with diverse learning needs.

2. Collaborating with other team leads and professionals to develop comprehensive plans that address speech and language goals.

3. Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate the communication and language abilities of children and develop appropriate intervention plans.

4. Providing direct speech-language therapy services to children, utilizing evidence-based techniques and interventions.

5. Monitoring and tracking progress of children receiving speech-language services, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

6. Leading and participating in team meetings, case conferences, and multidisciplinary collaborations to discuss and develop effective strategies for children with diverse learning needs.

7. Providing clinical supervision and mentorship to speech-language pathologists, supporting their professional growth and development.

8. Staying informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and integrate them into the program.

9. Collaborating with families, caregivers, and external professionals to promote generalization of speech and language skills across various settings.

10. Developing and implementing training programs and workshops for parents, caregivers, and staff to enhance their understanding and support of speech and language development.

11. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.

12. Participating in the development and evaluation of program policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology, with a focus on working with children with diverse learning needs.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including previous experience in a supervisory or lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of communication disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment techniques.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills to assess and interpret assessment results.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with children, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor towards children and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: 30000/month - 65000/month depending on the level of expertise and experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
