Itam Administrator

**Description**

The **IT Asset Management Administrator** will play a critical role in managing the procurement and lifecycle of IT hardware assets, including laptops, peripherals, and related services. This role will focus on managing a ServiceNow queue for requisitions. The Administrator will collaborate primarily with ITAM and the user to ensure seamless procurement and asset management processes. This position is based in our GCC office and supports global ITAM operations as needed.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement and Vendor Management**:

- Support the hardware requisition queues for standard and non-standard requests
- Raise purchase orders with end user information and chargeback details for approval
- Distribute shipping labels to end users as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with re-sellers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and service quality.
- Track performance and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with standard procurement policies and procedures.

**Supply Chain and Inventory Management**:

- Forecast and plan hardware asset needs to align with organizational requirements.
- Manage accessory and peripheral stock levels to ensure availability for end users.
- Coordinate hardware distribution and tracking with re-sellers to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance, including freight charges and shipping supplies.

**IT Asset Lifecycle Management**:

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate cost allocations and timely payment processing.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets in inventory systems, ensuring data integrity.

**Administrative and Operational Support**:

- Manage ServiceNow ticket queues related to procurement and asset management.
- Provide administrative support for laptop model management.
- Generate reports on procurement activities, inventory levels, and cost allocations.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:
**Procurement and Supply Chain Expertise**:

- Demonstrable experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing roles.
- Knowledge of general procurement procedures, policies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with IT hardware lifecycle management, including laptops and peripherals.

**Technical and Analytical Skills**:

- Proficiency in incident management/tracking systems such as ServiceNow.
- Intermediate, to advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for chargebacks and cost tracking.

**Communication and Collaboration**:

- Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering efficient solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**Additional Qualifications**:

- Experience in a professional services firm is a plus
- Understanding of ITIL-based request fulfillment processes
