Blend of development and MLOPS skills
AWS Sagemaker expertise is must have
All code is in Python, some old code in Scala
Other tech touch points are ScyllaDB (like BigTable), OpenSearch, Neo4J graph (for identity resolution)
Can understand the Sagemaker pipeline, and analyze gaps, and recommend/implement improvements
Can troubleshoot pipeline issues, look into Python code, reverse engineer it, debug it
Of course, need to know Machine Learning models and concepts.
Has some data engineering skills to look into Kafka, Chaossearch logs, SQL etc for basic troubleshooting
Future needs - expanding MLOPS into agentic AI framework, RAG Architecture etc
Similar tech landscape as ML engineer, but I expect this person to light on the engineering / troubleshooting part, and more on the model development
Traditional ML model development analysis, hypothesis testing, data preparation, model selection, validation and testing
Knowledge of Agentic AI framework, RAG setup, LLM selection, integration etc.
