**Job Description Summary**: We are looking to grow our Physical Digital Analytics team at GE Research, Bangalore, India. We are looking for top notch researchers to be part of this exciting journey. We innovate and execute Analytics technologies that combine domain knowledge with advanced operations research, machine learning and text mining algorithms to deliver improved outcomes for our industrial businesses.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum of Master’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering field with specialization in Operations Research / Machine Learning/ Statistics.
- Specific areas of required expertise are: Mathematical Programming, Discrete Event Simulation, Stochastic Optimization, Model Order Reduction, Mathematical modeling, Estimation theory, Bayesian Estimation, Frequentist Statistics
- Experience of working in industrial domains (Aviation, Energy, Healthcare, Manufacturing etc.)
- Enthusiastically follow technology trends, engineering best practice and technologies while enjoying the challenge of solving complex problems
- Self-starter and can work in ambiguous environments
- Excellent communication skills

**Desired Characteristics**
- Strong foundations in design, analysis, and implementation of algorithms in different computing architectures is desired.
- Expertise in Deep Learning techniques as applied to industrial data
