**Position: Senior R&D Executive (Plant Level) - Ice Cream / Bakery/ Chocolate Product Development**
**Location**: Kesurdi MIDC, Shirwal, Near Khandala
**CTC**: Up to ₹10 LPA

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a **Senior R&D Executive** (Plant Level) to join the Baskin Robbins team and contribute to the development and innovation of exceptional ice cream products. Reporting to the R&D Head, this role demands a self-driven, reliable professional with a passion for creating industry-leading frozen desserts. You will play a pivotal role in product development, process optimization, and quality assurance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver market-ready products that exceed consumer expectations.

**Key Responsibilitie**

**New Product Development**
- Lead ideation, conceptualization, and formulation of new products.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings.
- Develop product formulations that align with desired taste, texture, and nutritional profiles.

**Recipe Formulation**
- Design and optimize ice cream recipes to meet quality, cost, and nutritional objectives.
- Partner with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and manage testing and evaluation.

**Quality Control**
- Establish robust quality standards and conduct sensory evaluations to ensure consistency.
- Proactively address quality issues and implement corrective measures as needed.

**Process Optimization**
- Drive manufacturing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with production teams to scale up recipes while maintaining product consistency.

**Compliance and Documentation**
- Ensure all product development activities comply with relevant food safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain detailed records of research, development, and quality control processes.

**Market Trends and Innovation**
- Stay abreast of emerging industry trends, technologies, and consumer behaviors.
- Explore innovative ingredients and processes to maintain a competitive advantage.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Work with teams across marketing, production, and quality assurance to ensure clear timelines and deliverables.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
- **Experience**: 4-6 years of hands-on experience in product development and research, preferably in the ice cream, Bakery or frozen dessert industry.
- Strong understanding of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and sensory evaluation techniques.
- Proficiency with laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
