- **Soldering and Assembly**:

- Perform high-quality soldering on various electronic components such as circuit boards, connectors, and resistors.
- Assemble and rework intricate electronic systems according to technical specifications and blueprints.
- Ensure that all solder joints meet quality standards, are clean, and free from defects like cold solder joints or bridges.
- **Troubleshooting and Repair**:

- Diagnose and repair defective components or faulty soldering connections.
- Work with engineering teams to test and identify issues with electronic assemblies.
- Perform rework and touch-up on components, ensuring products meet functionality and durability standards.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect and verify the quality of finished soldering work, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of components and assembled boards for defects or irregularities.
- Maintain proper documentation of quality checks, rework, and repairs.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Maintain and calibrate soldering equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Troubleshoot and repair soldering tools when necessary.
- **Collaboration and Support**:

- Collaborate with the production team, engineers, and other departments to improve the soldering process.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior soldering staff and trainees.
- Participate in production meetings to discuss new projects, process improvements, and troubleshooting.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when handling electronic components and soldering materials.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials such as lead-based solder and chemicals.
- **Training and Development**:

- Keep up-to-date with the latest soldering techniques and technologies.
- Assist in the training and development of new employees in soldering techniques.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintained records of completed soldering tasks, including rework, repairs, and inspection reports.
- Report any issues that might affect production schedules, quality, or safety to management.
