**Hiring - Home Nurse**

**Key Duties for the Caregiver**
- Medication management:

- Follow a printed medicine chart with timing and doses.
- Keep a 7-day pill organizer filled each Sunday under your or the nurse’s supervision.
- Maintain a daily log sheet (time given, skipped dose, sugar level, BP).

**Foot care**:

- Daily inspection for redness or wounds.
- Keep foot clean and moisturized.
- Immediate reporting of any new discoloration or swelling.
- Monitoring:

- Blood sugar (fasting & postprandial) at least 3× per week.
- BP daily.
- Record mood, appetite, and sleep pattern (for psychiatrist review).

**Mobility & diet**:

- Assist in walking with support; ensure safe footwear.
- Serve balanced diabetic meals; avoid sweets or refined carbs.
- Skills & Qualities to Look For
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years caring for diabetic or elderly patients.

**Temperament**: Patient, gentle, non-confrontational (important for bipolar care).

**Language**: Comfortable in Tamil and basic English.

**Training**:

- Knows basic first aid, insulin injection, and glucose monitoring.
- Can recognize hypoglycemia symptoms.
- Understands medication schedules (morning/evening).

**Required Documentation**: Should have a valid ID, background verification from agency.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
