**Summary**:
The Maintenance Supervisor at our Airjet Looms Factory plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and equipment. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all equipment is properly serviced and maintained to maximize operational efficiency. In the absence of the Shift Supervisor, the Maintenance Supervisor will assume responsibility for managing shift activities and ensuring production goals are met.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Maintenance Leadership**:

- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and coordinate repairs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs, maintenance, and replacements.

2. **Team Management**:

- Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
- Coordinate training programs to enhance the skills of maintenance personnel.
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.

3. **Shift Management**:

- Assume the responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor in their absence.
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities during shifts to meet production goals.
- Communicate effectively with production and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

4. **Equipment Optimization**:

- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for equipment optimization and improvement.
- Implement cost-effective solutions to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.

5. **Emergency Response**:

- Act as the point of contact for any maintenance-related emergencies during shifts.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.

6. **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
- Generate reports on equipment downtime, maintenance costs, and efficiency improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an industrial setting, preferably in the têxtile or manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of airjet looms and related machinery.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

**Education and Certifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in maintenance and equipment management.

**Working Conditions**:

- The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
