**Job Roles and Responsibilities: CT and X-Ray Radiographer**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Preparation**:

- Greet and identify patients, verify medical history, and explain procedures.
- Prepare patients for CT and X-ray imaging by positioning them correctly and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- **Imaging Procedures**:

- Operate CT and X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging studies.
- Adjust imaging equipment to capture clear and accurate images based on the physician's instructions.
- Ensure proper settings for dose optimization to minimize radiation exposure.
- **Image Quality and Interpretation**:

- Review images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic quality before submitting them to radiologists.
- Identify and address any technical errors or abnormalities in the imaging process.
- **Equipment Maintenance and Compliance**:

- Perform routine checks and maintenance of CT and X-ray equipment to ensure functionality.
- Adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines, including infection control and radiation protection protocols.
- **Record Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient details, and reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and storage of digital images in the hospital's PACS system.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to provide efficient diagnostic services.
- Communicate effectively with patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation during procedures.
- **Emergency Handling**:

- Be prepared to handle emergency cases, including trauma imaging and contrast reactions.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast agents and respond promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology.
- **Certifications**:

- Certification in CT and X-ray imaging from a recognized institution.
- Advanced certification or training in CT scan technology is an added advantage.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in using modern CT and X-ray equipment.
- Knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and imaging protocols.
- Strong communication skills and empathy for patient care.
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and other radiology software.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of **3 to 5 years of experience** as a CT and X-Ray Radiographer in a hospital or diagnostic center.
- Proven expertise in performing both routine and advanced imaging procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
