**Position Summary:

The MEP Executive will be responsible for the supervision and control of maintenance and

servicing for all Guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, Conference and Events in the hotel. His

job duties are critical in the effective supervision of the hotel, as maintenance is of the one

highest priority in the hospitality industry. The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning

and execution of MEP maintenance works. The scope of MEP works will include Electricals,

HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, elevators etc

The effective management of subordinate MEP Employees / Associates will be paramount to

the success of this position. Leadership, problem-solving, and decisiveness are critical for

success in this role. The position will report General Manager along with Corporate technical

head and work in liaise to achieve departmental goals.

**Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure that all bedrooms and public rooms are Maintained and inspected daily
- Ensure all fixtures are in a good state of repair.
- Ensure that rooms are checked regularly from repairs and refurbishing point, and that

appropriate maintenance is completed
- Liaise with Housekeeping Manager / Executive and notify them of areas in need of

attention pertaining to decor.
- Ensure that staff are coached and trained to perform their duties effectively.
- All engineering log books needs to be maintained properly
- He will be responsible for all AMC contracts and follow ups
- Preparation and carried out planned preventive maintenance of all equipments
- Ensure that attendance registers are completed daily and in accordance with statutory

regulations.
- Ensuring the equipments and stocks are in good condition and is accountable for.
- Preparation of Material Inventory and maintain the record
- Preparation of Periodical Execution Plan preparation and its implementation
- Preparation of Daily engineering report and monthly HLP report
- Checking of all service drawings and resolving all conflicts including liaising with the

design consultants and project owners
- Maintain complete knowledge of:

- All hotel guestroom facilities / services
- All hotel facilities / services and operations
- Room types

- **Experience**:
have preferably worked in a PMC company looking after MEP works of a Star Hotel /

Mall or similar project. The right person for this position will have a demonstrated ability

to lead initiatives and show strong skills in follow up, Multi tasking, leadership and

All in all a mature individual who will be respected and perceived as a “Leadership Figure”

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
