**OMCS OCI Infra teams provide 24 x 7 support **for Oracle Cloud Servers, Storage, Infrastructure, interoperability, and Operating Systems support for Oracle’s Gen2 Cloud and its customers across all OCI regions. This team is committed to providing best Cloud Technology support and services.

**Required skills**:

- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Independent problem solving; self-direction
- Excellent in verbal and written communication
- Fully competent in own area of expertise (Windows System Administration and Cloud Infra)
- Must have worked as Windows SME
- In depth knowledge in Active Directory, Remote Desktop Service, DNS, DHCP, SCCM and Windows server family setup, deployment, maintenance, and patching
- Duties and tasks are varied and complex requiring independent judgment.
- Uses professional concepts, company policies/procedures & creativity to solve a wide range of problems.
- Contributes to complex aspects of a project or assignment.
- Upgrading Windows-based systems and servers, maintaining the security and stability of the environment
- Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction/mentoring to others.
- A solid understanding of Cloud networking/distributed computing environment concepts
- Be a strong contributor to development of platform services including architecture, configuration, deployment, and support (Debugging and troubleshooting)
- Ability to create scripts in PowerShell, VBS, Python, Ansible and similar languages

**What will you do**:

- Responsible for creating and implementing system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of computing systems.
- Implementation of projects, that have direct impact to the success of the business. Direct customer (internal and external to Oracle) management, including relationship building, and the sharing of technical expertise.
- Should be able to work independently without much guidance.
- Drives operational tasks & incident calls.
- Collaborates on planning, identifying and mitigating risks in the project.
- Should be able to author new SOPs.

**Operations Department specific skills**:

- 5+ years of Production experience in enterprise level Windows System Administration
- Remote administration of Windows servers in large scale Data Centers.
- Knowledge of Storage technologies
- Virtualization technologies
- General troubleshooting and administration of Windows Servers
- Computer networking services and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, etc).
- Able to work with different internal teams for project work
- Experience dealing with customer relationships
- General Understanding of relational databases
- Knowledge of cloud compute technologies, network monitoring, OS image build
- Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus would be added advantage
